Slow It Down

Slow it down sons of Adam and daughters of Eve

Life isn’t long, but so very short indeed!

If life was long we’d all live like we should

And we wouldn’t hurry like bees everywhere

We’d stop to help a person who needs the help

Everyone would volunteer and give of their time

To make life better for all those in need

But life is short and so we scurry like field mice

Scampering everywhere trying to get everything done

God has given us so much more than this

So slow it down and help others who need it
