I am a debtor so I gave him my sweater
His name is Moe; he’s got my big toe
I am so broke just like most folk
He took my house along with its mouse
My car is gone, it went away last dawn
So has my dog, gone away into the fog
I gave my bed, for a little loaf of bread
Whoa is me, I don’t even have tea!
Even my wife, has found a better life
Why my honey, did you leave for money?
She’s gone with him on a sudden whim
I hate being his debtor, his life is far better
He’s got my wife and with her my life
I want it back, everything that I now lack
But here I sit, having a great big fit
Unable to do what I really want to
