I close my eyes and let my mind drift away, into the land of hopes of dreams

All my troubles, worries and cares, fly away into the sky, gone for now

Happiness surrounds me as I am free; this is the only place where I can be free

Loving arms embrace me, as I am now with the one I love, whom I can never see

Here in the Land of Dreams, I can be where I want, with whomever I want

Wars are never here, money is not spent, for neither is needed, nor wanted

I can go from being with the beautiful woman I love, to Africa, in the blink of an eye

The ocean breeze touching my face, the fresh feeling embracing me as nothing else can

The warmth of the summer sun, can be felt in the middle of winter, when all else is cold

Children run all about playing their childish games, laughing and smiling all the way

Everywhere I go my fair lady is there by my side, we are free to be who we want

No worries about money, education, or jobs, just happy to do as we wish

We all have that Land of Dreams somewhere inside our hearts wanting to be freed

Children find it and use it everyday of there childhood and are much happier for it

The rest of us lack the imagination or we are just afraid to visit The Land of Dreams

Happiness is there, we just have to look harder to find it and put away our fear

The Land of Dreams isn’t lost, we just have to learn to follow our hearts

The heart knows best, it will point us in the right direction, we only have trust it
